Welcome to the ASC Data Submission Requirements calculator

ASC collects data from client operations as part the ASC Certification Programme and related services. This data is critical for use in verification, demonstrating impacts, programme development, and related needs. ASC does not share sensitive or personal data of any kind and adheres to a strict ASC Data Sharing Policy.
The ASC Farm Standard includes indicators for data reporting; the details of the requirements are provided in this calculator.
Data shall be submitted through the MyASC Certification Portal and adhere to the ASC Data Submission Procedure. If you are a producer and need access to the portal or have related questions, please contact:  data@asc-aqua.org.
Data reporting requirements under the ASC Farm Standard vary depending on the:
  • Species group
  • Production system type
  • the Water type the farm is located in,
  • whether the species is Feed dependent,
  • the receiving Waterbody type, and
  • the Production method.

ASC distinguishes between the following production methods:

All-in all-out operation: Production units at the same farm site are stocked and fully harvested in specific production cycles. All site production units are following between production cycles.

Continuous operation: Production units at the same farm site are stocked and fully harvested independently from each other, resulting in continuous rotation of production units and harvesting at the site.

Continuous stocking operation: Production units at the same farm site are continuously stocked and harvested, without fully harvesting production units between production cycles. Animals in culture are in different stages in the production unit with regular harvesting of larger animals. The production units are regularly restocked with new seedlings and not fully drained.
The waterbody type classification of the receiving body is based on Hydraulic Retention Time, Flow rate and Total Suspended Solids following the procedure of Appendix 8.5 of the ASC Farm Standard.
