Requirement

The UoC shall maintain written records of all grievances, responses and resolutions.

How Do I Interpret This Requirement?

  • The system used to track grievances, responses, communication and remedy should include:

    • the name of the person who brought the grievance

    • the date it was submitted

    • the person or department against whom the grievance was made

    • the category of the grievance

    • dates and the results of internal investigations carried out

    • the outcome of the investigation

    • dates when a response was provided to the person who brought the grievance.

Evidence of Implementation

  • records of grievance processes.

Auditors Should Confirm

  • records of grievance processes are complete.
