Requirement

The UoC shall apply treatment rotation where more than one effective sea lice treatment is available. Every third treatment shall belong to a different family of drugs.

How Do I Interpret This Requirement?

  • A single treatment is considered to have taken place when the majority of a site (i.e. more than half of all cages) is treated.

Evidence of Implementation

  • List of effective sea lice medicinal treatments available.

    • Including rationale for the non-inclusion of other available sea lice medicinal treatments.

  • Records that demonstrate medicinal parasiticide treatments.

  • If applicable, records shall demonstrate that every third treatment belongs to a different family of drugs.
